Tokyo Auto Salon

Hi all, French is the name, shamps recently approached me to co-write on his blog, as an avid speed lover, JDM enthusiast and closet ford fan, ill be providing some input into his blog and sharing the work load (ie drinking and generally talking shit).

But that's enough about me, its time for my first post!

Tokyo Auto Salon 2010,

Yes, i know it was a month or so ago, but hey i was there, so here's some shots and commentary.

PS (I'm an apprentice not a photographer so my shitty 12 mega pixel camera will have to do)

Revolution's time attack FD3s RX7, words cannot describe the awesomeness!, all carbon fibre panels(except the roof), rear diffuser, inboard suspension and a surprisingly mild 538hp, this car is built for response, just weighing in at 960kg it has high hopes for a sub 55 second lap at Tsukuba circuit.

Can anybody say rear camber? Insane wheel fitment is the norm at these events.

D1gp Blitz Skyline, driven by Ken Nomura AKA the "Monkey Man" always a crowd favourite.

Insane custom interiors installs.

This kei-car got the full treatment, the paint job was simply stunning. (the camera does no justice)

The wonders of the PANSPEED stand, Ive been told this legendary car is coming to eastern creek later this year.

Battle scars on the Bee-R skyline

Nice um mm... airbrushing

Bentley Le Mans car , wow!

This Manga theme Fd was at the Re Amemiya stand, nice but no idea how your meant to see out that window..

Of course its not always about the cars, took me a while to spot that lambo.

Its not always JDM at these events, this Camaro was getting its fair share of attention.

A GT500 Eleanor theme replica yes? well maybe, lets just say its a very Japanese take to it.

Would you believe that under all that fibreglass resides a JA80 supra? 2JZ love with American styling.

Anyway, ill leave you what i saw at the R Magic stand, count them, 1,2,3,4 rotors! And peripheral ported, reminds me i need to buy that loto ticket.
