ah, r33 HKS Drag Car, so sexy. 2771 sq.cm of displacement. Twin 35/40's, so pretty. 7.671 @ 181.98 mph. Probably the only 33 i'd like to own.

Turbo mods!

Insane Drifters - Drift Attack 1.11.09 from Eighty4 Photo & Film on Vimeo.

Insane Drifters reppin it for the east coast late last year at Winton.

sadface.

failed at achieving anything today, except for moving my vl from where its sat for 6 months and clearing the amazing jungle thats been living underneath it. i entered the amazon today, and i won't soon forget about it. as i stepped into the dusty bucket i realised how much work i still had to do, lists are being made, only 2 or so months til i get my license back so much work to be done. fix the dash, fix the parcel shelf, discovered the front rotors either need remachining or just some intensive braking, its a fun life, owning a VL.

wish my baby looked this good.

but here it is

if you haven't logged onto speedhunters to check out the skyline week madness theres something seriously wrong. put down the crack pipe and click the link

midday ice cream snack attack

yeah, i'd go all american pie on this tub of ice cream. go taste that shit bro, freo and hilary's.

Car Shop F1

Carshop F1 R34, sounds absolutely insane on boost, violent as fuck. love it

and this sexy as fuck 2jz chaser with a trust t78 and some te37's.

i want this brake upgrade! 8pot fronts and 4pot rears.

Drift Australia caput!

Not completely over, just the 2010 season. I'll let you read the statement and decide for yourself the future of Australian Drift. Me? I never really got into the national series anyways.

"Due to the recent breakdown in extended and exhaustive negotiations, Ninety Degree Entertainment has been regrettably forced to cancel the current 2010 series format and postpone the Drift Australia events for 2010.

The premature announcements regarding Drift Australia in 2010 was somewhat based on maintaining commitments that still are being negotiated.

In light of this announcement, Ninety Degree Entertainment and all the teams are still committed to delivering a national drift series.

During this time, a new series format will be developed to a more feasible platform for all competitors and stakeholders with the view for long-term sustainability. The series organisers and all teams will be collectively communicating new ideas and strategies for a stronger return in the near future. The relative late notice can affect the environment of the round format. Given that many tracks are not flexible later in the year, Drift Australia in 2010 may not run with the scheduled five rounds."

drift it!

WA Drift Round 5

Results to follow.

yeah....what the fuck?

Datsun Bluebird. I wonder if you get some of those sunnies in the glovebox?

muahahaha

FRENCHY SMASH, FRENCHY KILL!

for those that can't tell, its a rb26dett (GTR Skyline) in a FD Rx7 (13b Rotary). Usually i'd be against it, but it does make a cool 876 whp, pretty worthy if you ask me.

Packing the killer punch is a Garrett GT4202 and putting the boost to the street are some 12" wide Rims wrapped in 335's.

yeaaaaah boi!

only from the crazy state of wisconsin which brought you such laws as it being "a class A misdemeanor to wave a burning torch around in the air." Awesome. I'm sure frenchy would gladly take a burning torch to the engine bay, but watchout buz.

tough touge

bored with the touge, why not throw open the door and feel the beautiful breeze upon your cheeks and breath in the rubber from your tyres.

and if you've got a bit of time, read this

Prime It!

i don't know if just me, but i'd dry hump this s14. whether its the workmeisters or the primer paint job, i'm hot and ready for it.

the primer paintjob also conjours to mind one of my favourite corolla's. it takes balls to run primer, but it shows off the lines of a car so beautifully.

Mopar LOVE!

Picture the scene, all night clubbing in Tokyo till 6AM, taking the subway home drunk and having this curious beast meet on the just out in front of the station steps. WOW

its a 3rd generation 1972 Plymouth Barracuda, complete with 340 V8, nice!

Looks like the he just needed a pack of durries from the Sunkus (aka 7-11)

certainly stood out with a timeless old school cool american muscle!

paddy hachi

who would've thought the irish love hachi's nearly as much as us. Jdm all over the joint, 4AGE power, fun for the whole family.

drift dreams

was contemplating life today, and how much i love sideways, but what car to do it in. so why not compile a list of cars i'd love to make space for in my garage for some high speed right angle to curb action.

the nb mx5/miata, known to alot as one of  the best handling cars that you can buy, why not take it around the bend with some tyre smoke, showing the girls your booty. Although i think i'd rather replace the stock 2.0 litre with a 13b or sr20det, 13b for some crazy bridgeport fun, or sr20 for some balanced playtime.

FB Rx7. What? You don't want to see this being driven around barbagallo losing traction.

S13.4 Kouki Vert. A mouthful, yes, completely and utterly sexy, of course. Not to mention its s13 chassis is arguably one of the most popular when it comes to drifting, and the aftermarket support is massive. Engine wise, sr20's suit the application, but a RB26/30 would be alot of fun to hear screaming around a track, giving some limiter love.

That is ALL.

hahaha more ideas and pics after the jump.

Aloha Kings

Although the weather threatened to end Hellaflush 4, no-one could stop the enslaught of fitment freaks upon the shores of Oahu, Hawaii. Here's a few of my favourite pics.

wooooop

just a video to get you all hyped for collie, I couldn't find much good footage of the comps down there, but here's the home of drift, Ebisu, if this doesn't get you running for the keys and coming out your driveways sideways, i just don't know what will.

Slideways

Round 5 of DriftWA on this weekend (Sunday, March 7th) at the collie drift track. I'll hopefully be heading down there with the boys to take a few photo's and sniff the rubber in the air (insert bad Apocalypse Now napalm quote). Get your shit together and we'll see you down there.

oh and someone convince french to bring out the pig rx7.
